Description
The "Bless This House" tray from Wilton Armetale dates back to the late 1980's. The shape was inspired by an antique bread tray from a shop in Chicago's Old Town and then referenced to the Boston Bowl in overall shape. "Bless This House" has biblical references and was also a popular song "Bless This House Oh Lord" from the mid 1920's. The center design is an original artwork drawn by Amy F. Engle, a designer and staff member of Wilton Armetale. The art is a Country Traditional styling which thrived throughout the 80's and is still strong today. The bread tray makes a wonderful wedding or housewarming gift that will convey good tidings for a safe and happy home to those who possess it. 1_H. x 7W. x 11L., Wt. 27 oz.
