It's rather difficult to imagine someone not enjoying this grill! I've only had it for a few days now, but I've used it several times for sausage and chicken legs & breasts. First of all, it came very well packaged. I had it delivered, and there were no signs of handling damage. I was able to take it out of the box assemble it by myself, so it can be considered a one person job. Once you get it out of the box, it's easy to move since it comes on 4 casters. There really isn't much assembly required, I'll try to list: - The shelf on left and side burner on the right. I'm going from memory here, but I believe there were only about six bolts to drive into weld nuts for each end piece. The shelf on the left also gets a small rack with hooks for hanging your grilling tools. It has a bolt stud at each end and get secured with two nuts. - The rotisserie motor, motor bracket, and shaft. - And of course all of the grates. And that's pretty much it. Side note though. There directions were unclear to the point of causing me a bit of grief. The ignition requires two AA batteries (which are included). Each battery gets installed into a cylindrical shaft, and then an end cap on the face of the grill, acts much like the end piece on a flashlight, gets twisted into position to secure the battery and complete the electrical circuit. Well the directions state that the ingitor could be tested by pushing the end cap in, a clicking sound should be heard. If not, then it is possible that the wires behind the control panel aren't conneceted or that the metal sparking plate isn't 3/8 of an inch away from the spark plug. So these things should be checked and adjusted. Well first of all the caps can't be pushed. There is a spring on the underside of them so if you don't screw the caps all the way in, you can push them a bit, but this does nothing. I spent a notable amount of time trying to diagnose this "problem" before deciding to abandon the test and just connect the gas and try it out. I never got the clicking noise during the test, but nevertheless the ignitors proved to work beautifully. I would advise just skipping the "test" altogether because the caps are not designed to be pushed anyway. The gas line connection was really a cinch. It comes with all the hoses you should need. The side burner gets connected via a hose with a quick connect fitting. The main inlet hose has a female (3/4" I think) fitting to connect to the gas line from your house. The biggest trouble I'm having is finding a cover large enough to fit this thing. It measures 77 1/8" (width) after it is completely assembled, and I haven't come across a generic grill cover yet that is large enough to fit it. Kenmore makes an 84" inch one, but at the time of this writing, it is out of stock everywhere. So for now, I'm throwing a tarp over it and foregoing aesthetics for function. Great product. Has every feature I wanted and performs as well as it looks.
